Tesuque Elementary School Creates Garden and Seeks Donation of Tools and Time

The Tesuque Elementary School is establishing a garden and the school needs volunteers and tools.

Volunteers are being asked to come and help prepare the garden starting this month. The school will be holding workdays on February 26, on March 19, and on another date yet to be scheduled in hopes of have the garden ready to plant by mid-April.

The school is also looking for donations of the following items, new or used:

• 3 hoes
• 3 rakes
• 3 large shovels
• 3 brooms,
• 25 clipboards
• 25 hand trowels
• 3 wheelbarrows
• 10 watering cans
• 3 hoses (rubber if possible)
